To assist students in their choice of course we have indicated the level of difficulty of each diploma. * indicates our most basic level and *** our most difficult level

The three levels indicated above are the three differing levels of difficulty which PSB consider students should appreciate prior to selecting a single subject short course. On completion the student will be awarded a Premier School of Building ‘Diploma’ in the appropriate subject area. Each of the above single subject short courses will take about three months to complete based on the student studying 6/8 hours per week but this may vary depending on the students previous knowledge of the subject. PSB combined diplomas are based on the above single subject short courses.

Combined Diplomas are designed for mature students currently employed within the construction industry who are supported by their employers both for funding and guidance (i.e. will provide a mentor to oversee the studies).

Each of the combined diplomas consists of seven of the single subject short courses and a final piece of Project Work. The exception to this is the Diploma in Site Management which is more flexible.

On completion the student will be awarded a Premier School of Building diploma as appropriate (eg. Diploma in Architectural Development)
