DIPLOMA IN QUANTITY SURVEYING (M&E) by distance learning

This combined diploma is designed for mature students currently employed within the construction industry who are supported by their employer both for funding and guidance (i.e. will provide a mentor to oversee the studies).

This combined diploma consists of seven single subject short courses and a final piece of Project Work. On completion the student will be awarded a ‘Premier School of Building’ Diploma in Quantity Surveying (M&E).

The First Year will consist of the single subject short courses as indicated below:

• Construction Technology
• Material Science & Testing
• Site Procedure & Administration
• Construction Services (M&E)

The Second Year will consist of the single subject short courses listed below:

• Measurements (M&E)
• Estimating & Analysis of Pricing
•Legal Studies
• Project Work (M&E)

Students who are over 30 with experience of the construction industry and who have previously studied the first year subjects may apply to be ‘fast-tracked’ onto the second year of the course, but must apply in writing (with evidence) to the school.

Course Fees:
First year - four modules in first year of course £1600.00
Second year - four modules in second year of course £1700.00
Postage: Students to add Europe £15 others £25 per short single subject course.
Students may only enrol for One Year at a time.
